The Mater Dei PTA Fashion Show Dinner and Gift Auction will be held on Thursday, March 11, at 6:00 PM at Jacques Reception Center. The cost for dinner is $40 per person. Gift Auction ticket packages can be purchased in advance. The Gift Auction ticket package price is $60. All reservations must be received by March 1.

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES

Parent Teacher Conferences have been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 10, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

Mater Dei High School Seraph Players presents "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" at the Middletown Arts Center on January 29 at 7:30 PM; January 30 at 3:00 and 7:30 PM and January 31 at 3:00 PM. MD BOOSTER CLUB 2ND ANNUAL CHEERS TO THE NEW YEAR RAFFLE AND CELEBRATION

The Cheers to the New Year Raffle and Celebration will be held on Friday, January 29, 2010 in Memorial Hall at 7:30 PM. Tickets for the raffle are available for $100.00 each. BONE MARROW SCREENING FOR EVAN SULLIVANO

There will be a bone marrow screening event for Evan Sullivano (a 17 year old boy from Middletown) at the Knights of Columbus and AOH Hall this Saturday from 12 - 4pm. Evan has an aggressive form of Leukemia and urgently needs a bone marrow transplant. The testing includes just a swap of the cheek so please come out and support Evan and his family. The polar plunge will be held on January 10th, 2010 at Ichabod's in Sea Bright at noon. This event is to support Catholic Education and it is ALWAYS a fun day. The Mater Dei High School Chorus presents "A Joyous Christmas -A Celebration of the Songs of the Season! on Wednesday, December 16, at 7:00 PM at Memorial Hall. Tickets are $2 at the door. Featuring: Concert Chorus, Honors Chorus, Student Soloists, Dancers, Instrumentalists and a Special Appearance by featured alumnus Gerard Canonico. All proceeds benefit the Mater Dei Performing Arts programs.

Flag Football Tournament

The Mater Dei Booster Club and the Parish Athletic Assocation will host a Flag Football Tournament on 11/27 from 9am to 2pm at Mater Dei.
Ten players per team, 7 on the field at a time. $20.00 per player. Divisions: Open, High School, Over 30, over 40, women's team and grammar school. There will be two 15 minute halves. Mater Dei Walk - a - Thon

The Walk-a-Thon is an annual event sponsored by Mater Dei High School where the student body and faculty raise funds to support the school's athletic and extra-curricular activities. These funds are generally used to defray the over-all program costs such as bus transportation for trips to events and activities. We ask that all students/families support this event with a minimum donation of $50.00.

The Senior Class Picture will be taken on Monday, September 21, during Period 1. Seniors are allowed to wear jeans and a Mater Dei T-Shirt on that day. The T-shirt must be a Mater Dei T-shirt and not plain blue/white.

Monmouth County College Fair

The Monmouth County College Fair will be held at Brookdale Community College on Sunday, September 20th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the Brookdale Community College Gym. Representatives from 185 colleges and universities have registered to attend the fair.

Soccer games will be played today.

Field Hockey vs. Neptune cancelled today. No practice. Coach Osnato will use the phone chain to announce practice on Saturday.

Saturday
Football Game vs. Dunellen will be played on Saturday at 1:00pm.
Homecoming festivities have been changed to the October 31st home game vs. Monsignor Donovan. The homecoming king/queen and court will be honored as well as Senior Day for Cheerleading and Football.

Monday 10/19/09
Boys Soccer will travel to Cardnial McCarrick at 2:30 for a 3:45 game.
Girls Soccer will travel to Lakewood at 2:30 for a 3:45 game.
Tennis will travel to Point Beach @ 2:30 for their match.
